August favorites!

August just so happens to be my favorite month. Not only is it summer time but it is my birthday month. My birthday was the 20th. I had an amazing time. We went to a lake for some swimming and fun in the sun. We went rock hunting with the kids which was a blast. I have been so busy these past few weeks. It seems like my entire family has their birthday's all at the same time. My Dad, Mother In-law, My husband, and 2 friends are just this month. So lets get started with my other favorites.
First I have the Revlon Lipgloss in 170 Coral Reef.  I love this color and it is perfect for summer or I like to use when I have an intense eye look like the smokey eyes.

I have started to reach for this color again wore it all the time when I first got it but stopped for some reason. I love how creamy this is and it is not drying and I have really dry lips so I don't need anything to add to it.  I use this under the lipgloss.

I have been using this in my day and night routine.  This stuff in amazing and does not seem to go really fast. Completely worth the $3.

I have been using this palette like crazy you can do pretty much any eye look with these colors.  This is probably the only eye shadows I have used in all the month of August.  Love these.

I have noticed I have become more oily than normal.  I tend to be dry in the T-zone but oily every where else.  So I was first concerned that this would dry me out more in my T-zone but it does not.  It does seem to help a little with the oil but it does not make my rosacea flair up which I love.   I will continue to use this.

As some of you may know I have wanted to try this stuff for a while now.  My husband got it for me for my birthday.  I was so excited to try it.  And I have no complaints.  This stuff takes off my makeup with little product and is very gentle to the eyes and my rosacea.

Makeup Haul!!!!!!

I went shopping this week and wanted to show you guys what I got.  I went to Target for a few things from e.l.f. and you wouldn't believe what I found I was so excited.  My favorite color is Orange and wear some sort of orange almost everyday.  I could be on my eyes, lips, my clothes.  I found this and needed it bad.

I found this in the clearance for only $2.97.  This is the color 10 Fierce & Tangy.  I wish it was a brighter orange but it is still a really pretty color.

I had to get this palette from wet n' wild when I found out from Sarah at Sequin Doll that this is a dupe for the naked palette.  And I am always looking for cheap dupes for expensive palettes.  This is the limited edition wet n' wild nude awakening palette.

While I was at Target I went buy the makeup brushes and I found this crease/blending brush.  I thought it was $1.98 but when I went up and purchased everything it rang up for $0.98.  This brush is perfect for blending out shadow for a smoky eye.

At Target I got the e.l.f. Eyelid primer.  I love this primer.  It keeps my eyeshadow from creasing all day. The best part is it is only $1.

Also from e.l.f. I got the lip stain in Crimson Crush.  These do have pretty good staining power but I am not sure about the color.  When I first put it on it is so dark it is almost like you have blood on your lips.  Yuck! But once it drys it is a pretty color.

I was really excited when I found this I am not sure if I am blind or if these are new to Target but I have wanted to try this for a while now.  The smell reminds me of Christmas when my mom made sugar cookies for me and my sisters to decorate.  And it tastes good to.  At first I could not feel the scrub on my lips but after using it a couple times it really scrubs.  My lips are left so soft.  You have to try this.  I have 1 word to describe this 'Amazing'.

I was at Rite Aid and stopped by the clearance bin and found this.  It is the Limited Edition Maybelline colorsensational in 975 Pop of Cherry.  It was only $3.

I also got this e.l.f. Nourishing Cuticle Pen which unfortunately was dry when I bought it so I still have not gotten to try it.

I sadly ran out of my Almay samrt shade foundation so I went out to try something new.  My sister raves about this foundation so I decided to give it a try.  I was really skeptical due to it was only $5 at walmart.  But I have to say it is really nice.  It is not heavy and I got the right shade the first try.  I have only ued it 2 times but so far I really like it.

Limited Edition Wet n' wild eyeshadow swatches

I have seen so many blog post and youtube video's lately about these limited edition wet n' wild palettes.  I was so excited that I had to run out and find them.  I went everywhere and no one had them.  I have been waiting impatiently for these to come here.  I went to rite aid and walgreens for a couple of good sales yesterday and guess what I found?  You guessed it they were finally here.  I grabbed 5 of the 6 they have it the collection.

34165 A Regular at the Factory
First I will show you my favorite.  My favorite color is Orange.  As always these are very pigmented and very soft.  The orange and blue appear to be matte and the yellow appears to have a little bit of shimmer.

  34165 I'm Seeing Triples!
I am a little scared of this palette.  The Purple is more of a pink/mauve than a real purple.  This color has a satin finish and the other to colors are matte.

34167 Three's A Party
The white and black are matte and the red has a little bit of shimmer.

34169 To Muse and Carouse
I love this palette because of the neutrals.  I think this is the most wearable of all the palettes in this collection. These are a little more sheer than all the other palettes but if you used a base these could really pop.  These do appear to have a satin finish.

34164 Your 15 Minutes Aren't Up!
The pink and purple appear to have a satin finish and the yellow is a matte.

I love wet n' wild eyeshadow they are so pigmented.  I am so excited to use these.
