Wet n' Wild Balm Stain Review + Swatches

I found these at Walgreens and was so excited.  I bought 4 out of the 6 colors they have available.  From left to right 128 Pinky Promise, 127 A Stiff Pink, 126 Rico Mauve, and 125 Red-dy Or Not.

I was really hoping that the colors you see on the packaging was the true color.  However, as you can see only A Stiff Pink is right on.  These are so moisturizing which I really need.  My lips are in serious need of some help this Winter.  The first time I tried these I went on a date night with my husband.  I wore Red-dy Or Not and was pleasantly surprised.  Through out the dinner I did not have to reapply even once.  The color was there even after the balm wore off.   I finally had to reapply after 6 hours.  I started to notice it wearing off in the center of my lips.

I wear Rico Mauve almost everyday.  It is probably my favorite color out of all of them.  I have not worn A Stiff Pink that often, however, I think I will get some good use out of it in the Spring.  For me the Pinky Promise is a good daily lip also.  It gives your lips a very subtle pop of color.  I would definetly recommend these to anyone.

Rainbow Monday!!

Alright so this is a post I wrote before my small blog break.  So this is a post from September.  I thought I would still put it up for you guys.  It's perfect because it is Monday.

This is the second post of this series here is a link to the first.  This is my favorite pink products.

I am in love with this lip stick it is from wet n wild in 511B Nouveau Pink.  I find these to be semi moisturizing but they do not stay on the lip for an extremly long time.  I usually have to reapply every couple of hours.  That does not bother me though.  This color does stain the lip so you could pull it off without reapplying but  I love how intense this color is.

I love these pigments I have not found one I don't like yet.  They are obviously very shimmery.  This is the NYX Ultral Pearl Mania Pigment in LP02 Pearl.  This picture does not give this the justice it deserves.  It it more pink that it appears.  I tend to use this on the inner corner.  As a little highlight.  But it is very sparkly so I usually only use it on my glam looks.

Next I have my Bath and Body Works anti-Bacterial Hand gel in Pink Champagne.  I just love the smell of this.

I have this beautiful pink nail polish by NYC in 142 Preppy Pink.  I really love this polish for the spring or summer.  Sadly summer is almost over but I am feeling very excited for Autumn.

Next I have probably my favorite scent for summer the rue 21 perfume etc!  I love this bottle it is so cute.
Check out my review here.

Next I have this delicious Pomegranate and Berries Juice.  I add this to sparkling water.  It tastes amazing and this is a huge bottle I should be set for a while.

                                                                                                   xoCrystal

New Haul Yay!!!!

This is obviously a very small haul but I love doing them and sharing them with you guys.

First thing is the Ulta Extreme Wear Matte Finish Mousse in Natural Buff.  Sorry about this picture it is terrible quality.  I went to Ulta and was looking through the clearance and found this for $2.99.  I was needing some new foundation so I decided to give this a try.  And I loved it.  It blended so well and left me matte all day.  Of course it is very thick but does not leave you cakey at all.  I really liked this because I have huge pores on my nose and this seemed to make them much smaller looking.  I liked this so much I went and purchased another.  However, after wearing this for a week I noticed I started breaking out really bad so sadly I can not wear this anymore.

Way back in May I took part in a facebook rewards system with Garnier and I was able to spend my reward points to get 6 full size Garnier BB Cream.  I waited for ever for this to come.  And it finally came. Because of the delay they sent a few samples.  Wanna learn more about this product go to my review here.

I have read so much about these lately so I had to try it.  And of course I love it.  It is the Jordana 12 hour eyeliner pencil in black.  They are so soft they just glide on and the pencil does not lie.  This does stay on for 12 hours.  I love to use this on my lower waterline. I have really watery eyes and this lasts forever.  I do notice a little build up in my inner corner but nothing to bad.

While I was at Walgreens I noticed they had a sale on the wet n wild and saw this beautiful color.  I love the wet n wild Idol eyes in 133 Techno so I had to give this a try.  These are so creamy and are great for a base or just by themselves. This is the color 130 Pixie it is the most beautiful champagne color ever.  It is very shimmery.  I find myself reaching for this constantly I think I am obsessed.

Naked Palette Dupes! Wet n wild Nude Awakening.

I promised I would put up this post a while back.  So here it is.

When I found out about this limited Edition palette I was so excited.  I love wet n' wild eye shadows and I have been wanting to get the Naked Palette for a while.  So for me it was a score!

Here is the Naked palette.

And here is the Nude Awakening palette.  If you do not have this palette I would suggest you go find it.  This palette is the Spring Limited Edition palette but I still find it in some Rite Aid.  This palette is $4.99 and there seems to always be a sale at least at one of the drugstores.

A couple of the colors don't exactly match the naked palette but when used on the eye you cant really tell the difference if that makes any sense.

August favorites!

August just so happens to be my favorite month. Not only is it summer time but it is my birthday month. My birthday was the 20th. I had an amazing time. We went to a lake for some swimming and fun in the sun. We went rock hunting with the kids which was a blast. I have been so busy these past few weeks. It seems like my entire family has their birthday's all at the same time. My Dad, Mother In-law, My husband, and 2 friends are just this month. So lets get started with my other favorites.
First I have the Revlon Lipgloss in 170 Coral Reef.  I love this color and it is perfect for summer or I like to use when I have an intense eye look like the smokey eyes.

I have started to reach for this color again wore it all the time when I first got it but stopped for some reason. I love how creamy this is and it is not drying and I have really dry lips so I don't need anything to add to it.  I use this under the lipgloss.

I have been using this in my day and night routine.  This stuff in amazing and does not seem to go really fast. Completely worth the $3.

I have been using this palette like crazy you can do pretty much any eye look with these colors.  This is probably the only eye shadows I have used in all the month of August.  Love these.

I have noticed I have become more oily than normal.  I tend to be dry in the T-zone but oily every where else.  So I was first concerned that this would dry me out more in my T-zone but it does not.  It does seem to help a little with the oil but it does not make my rosacea flair up which I love.   I will continue to use this.

As some of you may know I have wanted to try this stuff for a while now.  My husband got it for me for my birthday.  I was so excited to try it.  And I have no complaints.  This stuff takes off my makeup with little product and is very gentle to the eyes and my rosacea.

Rainbow Monday!

I wanted to start a series for my blog and so I decided to start one.  So here is the first post of this series.  I decided that every Monday I would pick a color and show you my favorite products in that color.

So today I am doing the color Red.  In doing this color I realized I don't really have that many red products. So this was a little more difficult than I thought it would be.

First I have the Revlon Nail Polish in 510 Fire.  This is one of those products that I hate the formula but the color stole my heart.  The only thing I don't like about this is when you paint your nails about 2 hours later you have a chip so I try to stay away from this nail line but I love this color.

I am not sure if this should count but the fruit is red.  It is the Pomegranate Juice.  I love to add this to sparkling water.

I love this lip lacquer.  The pigmentation is beautiful.  It is the most beautiful red and you don't have to reapply it several times through out the day.

Now I just bought this product but I have worn it several time since I have purchased it.  But I love this formula.  It has a lot of staining power.  It is sheer but you can build it up to what you see above.

I have this wet n' wild palette in Three's A Party from the Limited Edition Pop Craze line.  Going through all my eye shadows I noticed this is the only red eye shadow I have.  I love all the wet n' wild eye shadows.  I have not found a bad one yet.

Come back next Monday for my favorite blue products.

Makeup Haul!!!!!!

I went shopping this week and wanted to show you guys what I got.  I went to Target for a few things from e.l.f. and you wouldn't believe what I found I was so excited.  My favorite color is Orange and wear some sort of orange almost everyday.  I could be on my eyes, lips, my clothes.  I found this and needed it bad.

I found this in the clearance for only $2.97.  This is the color 10 Fierce & Tangy.  I wish it was a brighter orange but it is still a really pretty color.

I had to get this palette from wet n' wild when I found out from Sarah at Sequin Doll that this is a dupe for the naked palette.  And I am always looking for cheap dupes for expensive palettes.  This is the limited edition wet n' wild nude awakening palette.

While I was at Target I went buy the makeup brushes and I found this crease/blending brush.  I thought it was $1.98 but when I went up and purchased everything it rang up for $0.98.  This brush is perfect for blending out shadow for a smoky eye.

At Target I got the e.l.f. Eyelid primer.  I love this primer.  It keeps my eyeshadow from creasing all day. The best part is it is only $1.

Also from e.l.f. I got the lip stain in Crimson Crush.  These do have pretty good staining power but I am not sure about the color.  When I first put it on it is so dark it is almost like you have blood on your lips.  Yuck! But once it drys it is a pretty color.

I was really excited when I found this I am not sure if I am blind or if these are new to Target but I have wanted to try this for a while now.  The smell reminds me of Christmas when my mom made sugar cookies for me and my sisters to decorate.  And it tastes good to.  At first I could not feel the scrub on my lips but after using it a couple times it really scrubs.  My lips are left so soft.  You have to try this.  I have 1 word to describe this 'Amazing'.

I was at Rite Aid and stopped by the clearance bin and found this.  It is the Limited Edition Maybelline colorsensational in 975 Pop of Cherry.  It was only $3.

I also got this e.l.f. Nourishing Cuticle Pen which unfortunately was dry when I bought it so I still have not gotten to try it.

I sadly ran out of my Almay samrt shade foundation so I went out to try something new.  My sister raves about this foundation so I decided to give it a try.  I was really skeptical due to it was only $5 at walmart.  But I have to say it is really nice.  It is not heavy and I got the right shade the first try.  I have only ued it 2 times but so far I really like it.

Limited Edition Wet n' wild eyeshadow swatches

I have seen so many blog post and youtube video's lately about these limited edition wet n' wild palettes.  I was so excited that I had to run out and find them.  I went everywhere and no one had them.  I have been waiting impatiently for these to come here.  I went to rite aid and walgreens for a couple of good sales yesterday and guess what I found?  You guessed it they were finally here.  I grabbed 5 of the 6 they have it the collection.

34165 A Regular at the Factory
First I will show you my favorite.  My favorite color is Orange.  As always these are very pigmented and very soft.  The orange and blue appear to be matte and the yellow appears to have a little bit of shimmer.

  34165 I'm Seeing Triples!
I am a little scared of this palette.  The Purple is more of a pink/mauve than a real purple.  This color has a satin finish and the other to colors are matte.

34167 Three's A Party
The white and black are matte and the red has a little bit of shimmer.

34169 To Muse and Carouse
I love this palette because of the neutrals.  I think this is the most wearable of all the palettes in this collection. These are a little more sheer than all the other palettes but if you used a base these could really pop.  These do appear to have a satin finish.

34164 Your 15 Minutes Aren't Up!
The pink and purple appear to have a satin finish and the yellow is a matte.

I love wet n' wild eyeshadow they are so pigmented.  I am so excited to use these.

10 makeup products under $10

I have a seen a couple of these on youtube recently and thought it would be fun.  I had a hard time getting only 10 products that I love so I have a few more.  I thought that I would extend this and do 5 under $5 and my top products under $3.  Watch for those in the coming week.

So the first thing is the NYC Bronzer in 720A Sunny.  I love this because it is so light it just gives a natural healthy glow to your skin.  I got this at Rite Aid for $2.99.

The next one is the wet n' wild Fergie line highlighter in A045 Rose champagne glow.  This is a rose gold color and it gives off a beautiful glow to your skin.  I got this for $4.99 at Walgreens.

This is the wet n' wild Blush in 831E Pearlescent Pink. This is the Dupe for Nars Orgasm.  I do however love all of the blushes from wet n' wild.  I got mine at Rite Aid for $2.99.

I love the Elf eyelid primer.  It is a really nice creamy texture.  I got mine at Walmart for $1.  Target has these as well.

I just got this last week but I have been using it everyday since.  It is the Almay wake up eyeliner + highlighter in 010 black jolt and iced gold.  I put the eyeliner on the lower waterline and for me it does not seem to budge all day.  However it is not a soft liner so you really have to keep working the color into the waterline.    I love the highlighter part I use it on the brow bone and the inner tear duct.  It does have shimmer to it but I love it.  It is a creamy texture and applies perfectly.  I got mine at Walgreens and it was on sale for $4.99 not sure how much they are normally.

Next I have the wet n' wild megavolume Mascara.  This is not the waterproof but I love it.  It gives such beautiful volume.  This is not clumpy at all that I have found anyway.  All out I love this formula.  My holy grail mascara.  I got mine at Walgreens for $2.99.

I have the NYX Ultra Pearl Pigments.  I love these they have really nice colors to choose from.   This one is in 18 Orange Pearl. The best part is they are only $2.99 at Ulta.

The next is the Maybelline 24 hr Color Tattoo.  I love these they are so creamy and are great as bases for other eyeshadows.  I got mine at Walmart for $5.49.

Next I have the Rimmel Show Off in 501 Stellar.  I think this is the most beautiful color. This stuff is so hardcore pigmented the color on the tube is the color you get on your lips.  LOVE IT!  They are also very moisturizing and you don't even have to reapply through out the day.  I think you can only get these at Walgreens right now.  They are really cheap for how pigmented and great they are.  They are only $5.99.

The Next is the Maybelline Baby lips.  This one is in the Electro line 85 Oh! Orange.  However I love all the Baby lips.  They are so moisturizing and can be build able.  I got this at Rite Aid for $4.00

Next I have the NYX lipstick in Pure Nude.  I love this color.  I don't find them very moisturizing.  I found this at Ulta for I think $3.99.

Now I have the nail polish.  I love the Wet n' wild megalast in 218A I need a refresh mint.  I do love all the colors that I have tried.  They are very opaque and are very easy to apply.  And this color is perfect for summer.  I found these at Walgreens for $2.99.  But you can usually find a really good sale almost every week.
