Wet n' Wild Balm Stain Review + Swatches

I found these at Walgreens and was so excited.  I bought 4 out of the 6 colors they have available.  From left to right 128 Pinky Promise, 127 A Stiff Pink, 126 Rico Mauve, and 125 Red-dy Or Not.

I was really hoping that the colors you see on the packaging was the true color.  However, as you can see only A Stiff Pink is right on.  These are so moisturizing which I really need.  My lips are in serious need of some help this Winter.  The first time I tried these I went on a date night with my husband.  I wore Red-dy Or Not and was pleasantly surprised.  Through out the dinner I did not have to reapply even once.  The color was there even after the balm wore off.   I finally had to reapply after 6 hours.  I started to notice it wearing off in the center of my lips.

I wear Rico Mauve almost everyday.  It is probably my favorite color out of all of them.  I have not worn A Stiff Pink that often, however, I think I will get some good use out of it in the Spring.  For me the Pinky Promise is a good daily lip also.  It gives your lips a very subtle pop of color.  I would definetly recommend these to anyone.

I Got the Naked 3 palette!!!! :P

I got the Naked 3 palette for Christmas!!  (Thank you mom)  I am so excited!!! O.K. this is probably the most beautiful palette I have ever seen.   These shadows have a rosy undertone without making you look sick, just absolutely beautiful.

This palette has 3 matte shadows. From left to right: Strange, Limit, and Nooner.

The glitter shadows are from left to right: Dust, Buzz, and Blackheart which is the darkest color in the palette has red glitter.

And the satin finish shadows are from left to right: Burnout, Trick, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, and Darkside.  Trick is my favorite shadow in this palette however you do have to really scrape the top to get the shimmer top coat off.  Once you scrape it off it is really pigmented.

It also come with a double ended brush.  I think this brush is great if you are on vacation and don't want to bring any brushes this one is already in the palette.  Its not a bad brush at all.

This palette gives you such a large quantity of makeup looks from full glam to completely natural.  You can create a beautiful smoky eye or a one eye shadow look.

Busy mom's Crockpot Recipe (Teriyaki Chicken)

So I have been very busy lately so we were not eating very well. (McDonalds almost every night).  I got tired of it so I thought why not try and create something yummy in the crockpot I have not really done anything in the crockpot except for chili.  As I was browsing all the online recipe books I found a recipe for Teriyaki Chicken.  I thought to myself 'Why cant I make that in the crockpot'.  So I did.  I know some of you may be thinking that this is nothing new but I never thought of doing this before.

I actually just tried this last night and my two kids and husband who are way to picky to try anything new, actually loved it.  It was really salty due to the soy sauce so I would recommend using low sodium soy sauce.  I also used Chicken Breast but you can use anything you want.

Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

About 4 lbs of Chicken
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
Veggies
rice (cook seperatly)

First put the Chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.  Then add the Brown Sugar and then the soy
sauce.  Cook this on low for about 5 hours then add the veggies of your choice (I used carrots and brocolli cause that is what I had laying around).  When everything is cooked and tender use a fork to shred the chicken.  Add this over the rice.  YUM YUM it is ready to eat.

Hope you all enjoy this.
